Who?

The founders of Evantix met in the trenches while waging the battles of information protection at a number of the largest companies in the United States. Through this shared experience they developed a common understanding of both the challenges of managing information risk and a vision for a new approach. This vision was developed out over the course of a couple of years until Evantix was officially funded and launched in 2007. For more information about them, see our management page.

Why?

Quite simply there was no market solution, like credit bureaus or financial reporting agencies, for getting high-quality, consistent, measurable, cost-effective, and up-to-date information on the operational risk and compliance posture of your business partner or vendor.  This has left every company to “go it alone” using expensive resources and a lot of manual tools to gather data and to complete virtually identical risk assessments on the same vendors. In short, the market was missing a mechanism to gather the risk and compliance information on a business once and securely share this information across all connected parties.

What?

Evantix’s vision is to provide this missing market mechanism. A vendor risk reporting, monitoring, and management portal. The Evantix Risk & Compliance Portal transforms companies from “data gatherers” to “Risk Intelligence” enterprises that quickly measure vendor risk and take action with tools that connect them directly to the vendor.
